If you’re passionate about local history and want to help discover and preserve Waterdown and Flamborough’s past, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re one of the most active Heritage Societies in Ontario, and the Flamborough Archives is staffed and operated entirely by volunteers. With outreach throughout the community and tasks to be fulfilled in the archives, there’s always something to do. We publish a monthly newsletter, catalogue photographs and donations, inventory local businesses through the years, research family histories, create various displays, video editing, and so much more in order to engage the community with their local history.
Indexing of publications and other documents is something that is needed, and can be done at home.
