The Annual General Meeting will be followed by a presentation on The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club.

Robert Mazza is the Heritage Director for the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. He is a mechanical engineer and naval architect with over 40 years of experience. He began his career with C&C Yachts and Mark Ellis Design in Canada, and Hunter Marine in the US. He moved to sales and marketing of structural cores and bonding compounds with ATC Chemicals in Ontario, and Baltek Inc. in New Jersey.

The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club was founded in 1888 by Aemilius Jarvis. When it first opened, it was located on the Burlington Canal, along the beach strip that separates the Burlington Bay from Lake Ontario. It later moved to the foot of Bay Street. Robert will share the history of the club and the events that take place there.

This will be held as a hybrid meeting. Join the Zoom meeting through this link. No pre-registration is required.

At each of our meetings there is a brief period allotted to the business of the Society, followed by a speaker, or presentation on some aspect of local history or heritage. Afterward there are refreshments and conversation which play an important part in keeping alive the Community spirit. We hope to see you there!
