This presentation by speaker Chris Mallion-Moore tells us the story of Elizabeth Simcoe, focusing on her journey from England to Upper and Lower Canada in the company of her husband, first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada, John Graves Simcoe in the years 1791 to 1796. The diary she kept and illustrated provides a valuable impression of life in early Colonial Ontario and Quebec.
