Around the Bay Road Race - a History @ Online event - Zoom meeting

Our November monthly meeting will explore the history of the Around the Bay Road Race with Anna Lewis. Anna became the director of the race in 2016. Prior to that, she was the director or special events for the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. It was during this time when Anna was downtown Hamilton and saw the start of the race. She decided then, that she wanted to try running and fell in love with it.

Anna is going to tell us about how the first race held on Christmas day in 1894 has become the oldest road race in North America.

Click here to register for the Zoom event. The 100 available spots fill up quickly – should you wish to save a spot for our next monthly meeting, consider becoming a member as we prioritize our members first. Memberships are available here.

The meeting begins at 8:00 PM but the waiting room is open from 7:45 PM.
